Her passion and expertise lie in helping business people and organizations to make change easier. Lea is a successful entrepreneur, having owned and run three successful businesses. She has been providing coaching services since 1995 to both individuals and groups. In working with entrepreneurial clients, Lea draws upon her eight years experience with WREN, Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network, as a staff member, instructor and coach, helping men and women to start and grow thriving businesses. Lea has additional entrepreneurial experience as the Management Instructor for the Women's Small Business Program in Burlington, Vermont, assisting budding entrepreneurs to write business plans and secure funding. As a consultant, she was a partner in Focus for Discovery Training Programs™, working with businesses and organizations in stress management, time management, change management, leadership and communications skills. Lea spent five years working in manufacturing, as manager of a small retail store and in operations and procurement for a New Hampshire small business of the year. She knows the challenges facing managers and leaders and is expert at guiding and coaching them to be more effective in leading their teams, better managing their time and priorities, and having less stress and more fun! As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF), Lea is an instructor at two of the leading international coach training schools and is a Certified Mentor Coach, helping new coaches to build sustainable businesses and working with seasoned coaches to expand their business models. Now Lea provides training in coaching skills to develop coach managers and more effective teams. This training in coaching skills is just one element of a customized program in developing a coaching culture that Lea offers to non profit organizations and for profit corporations that want to develop a more collaborative working environment. As the author of Walk on Water: How to Make Change Easier, Lea offers interactive keynotes and workshops on change. |
